Okay so I'm not a hybrid maker normally, but I do quite often come up with a build for myself or a buddy. Recently got a new BB because my space bar failed on me and so I had a need for myself and a friend to come up with a nice build.
Decided to take the base install of 448 and just do some tweaks to it. I added in the CODs that I got from the beta zone and they load up just fine with no prompts for a keycode. I also renamed the media files and backgrounds to save space, I don't think may people here with a 9700 and OS6 would want to use the space for that crap. http://images.crackberry.com/forum_images/smilies/smile.gif
I also included 2 COD files in there that are mainly for T-Mobile users... First one is self explanatory, MyAccount gives you access to account info with T-Mobile. The second one is for YouMail users, this is the LAST version they released WITHOUT ads and it still works perfect with OS6. I haven't updated as I've seen a few friends that had and it offered little more then ads with an additional memory foot print.
Since I'm obviously a YouMail user, I have no need for the visual voicemail modules and I've made them an optional install in apploader. So if you want it, check the box! If you're a YouMail user, then you don't need it and can save the ~1MB of space it takes up.
Anyway, to install it, first install a 448 release of your choice and locate it as usual. Delete everything inside of there and copy the contents of the zip file linked below. If you want to shrink or whatever, go for it, shouldn't hurt anything.
So this is released AS IS!!!!! I have tested it on 2 T-Mobile 9700s and it worked perfectly on both. I really just made this for some friends and thought it was very smooth with very little wait clocking and good memory after loading. (I've got about 20 apps and sit at 50-60MB free after 24 hours) If you'd like to give it a shot, go for it! If you don't trust the build, then get one of the other hybrids available here! http://images.crackberry.com/forum_images/smilies/biggrin.gif
And I'm sorry in advance for the nasty description and short instructions. I assume most people here will skip past most of it and just download it anyway... If you need more detailed instructions, ask or take a look at the other threads describing how to copy over the files and where to find them, etc...
